Sorry, have'nt posted or put any cards on my blog for a while, I have'nt made any cards since june, as i have'nt felt like making any, due to having family problems and splitting up with my husband. Been feeling rather down in the dumps for the last couples of months, I've never cried as much as i have, due to the stress. I need to get my life back on track and start to catch up on the things i like to do the most, such as my card making.

Holiday to las vegas

This is me on my first holiday aboard to America, i went with my sister Melanie and her partner Joe, this was my first time flying and it was amazing. I had a really fantastic time and here are a few photo's of my holiday

This is one of my favorite stamps from pink gem. Used pink gingham paper, scollaped ovals, added flowers, gems and ribbon to finish. just need to add a number 8 to finish off card.

Used acetate for this card,Die cuts for the bag and the shoe, scolloped square was cut with the cricut, finished off with a few gems, abow and some peeloff flowers.

50th Birthday

Made this for a 5oth birthday, used swirls backing paper,also border bar from the glitter girls, gems and the image is from dufex.

Mother's Day Card

Punched out small and medium flowers, and leaves. Corners are a die cut and added gems to finish.

Grandma's 75th Birthday

Punched out small and large flowers, leaves added gems and peel offsand to finish off a butterfly.

Acetate Card

Made this Birthday card with lilac pearlize card and used a shoe and handbag topper. and inside cut the same shape out as the front in white and then added a verse.

Snowing here in wakefield

This is my son and daughter, luke and rebecca out this morning at 9'0'clock having a snow fight. My daughter is 21, and it was rebecca , who was trying to get her brother out of bed this morning so they could go outside in the snow. Rebecca could'nt get to work this morning and luke had an inset day.

Strictly Come Dancing Tour

The strictly come dancing tour was fab-u-lous as craig would say, really enjoyed the show and i got to see my favorite couple rachel and vincent , who by the way won the show. julian clary was second his routine was so funny, didn't get many good photo's as it was to dark, but here are a couple to show you.

Well, it seemed ages away when my daughter Rebecca gave me tickets for the strictly come dancing tour for christmas, well it's finally here and i go this saturday. I hope i get to see rachel and vincent my favourites on the show this year, as there was something in the paper about some of the dancers being ill with the winter vomiting bug. Will try and get some photos if i can.

I got this stamp last week, it's called Messy Rabbit by joanne sheen. And the day after i got it my friend asked me to make her a card for a first birthday and this is what i came up with, used acetate as the main card and then cut out a shape and a number one, cut from the cricut. Added stamped image, finish off with bows and beads, happy birthday in scollaped circle is from cuttlebug mini folder.

My lovely daughter rebecca has got me some tickets to go and see strictly come dancing at the sheffield arena on the 31st january for christmas, can't wait to go. What a lovely daughter she is.

First Card For 2009

Had a bit of a break with card making over christmas, so here's my first card for 2009, A baby card for a friends baby, made using acetate, a baby shoe and ribbons. forgot to add it's a girl on it, so added it after.

These are my last cards for 2008. 2 Exploding boxes for 2 different young ladies. One for a very girly girl, which is the pink one and then the black and white one is for a girl that likes heavy metal music and shoes and handbags. same design, but they look very different.
And can i wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Made using pearlized card actate large gold peeloff corners and dufex decoupage. finished with ribbon and glitter.

21st Birthday Card for Michelle

This is for a friends daughter, who will be 21 on the 3 january, made using cuttlebug folders Swiss dots and birthday. 21 was cut from the cricut, image is penny black stamp and to finish, used gems and ribbon, and a little bit of glitter.

this one took a bit of time and a few errors, but got there in the end.

I made this baby shoe in a box, for a baby's first christmas, with snow flakes stamped and embossed.
